LETTERS FROM MISSISSIPPI SCHOOL CHILDREN & FIANCÉ TO SAILOR FORESHADOW NAVY SHIP ACCIDENT!

When Kailey’s younger brother, Emerson, and his classmates wrote letters to Navy sailor Frank—Kailey’s fiancé—they had no idea that an impending danger would make their words even more meaningful.

LETTERS TO NAVY SAILOR FRANK READ BY MISSISSIPPI 5TH GRADE SCHOOL CHILDREN

On February 21st, we shared a video featuring Kailey and her fiancé, Frank, a Navy sailor deployed aboard the USS Harry S. Truman earlier that month. The video captured the love between two people separated by duty, highlighting the sacrifices made to serve our country. The headline read: “Letters from Mississippi School Children & Fiancé to Sailor Foreshadow Navy Ship Accident!” After carefully considering whether sharing this next video might be seen as exploiting children for views, we ultimately decided that its message could serve a greater purpose for our nation. “Letters to Frank” features the “Mississippi School Children” reading their heartfelt letters to him, offering support and gratitude.  We sincerely appreciate Principal Janine Lee of Lafayette Upper Elementary School in Oxford, Mississippi, Emerson’s 5th-grade class, and their teacher.
