In TheShop campaign for the Salvation Army, the creative director (producer) adopts a poor man’s David Attenborough from down under persona as he explores the “wilds” of the holiday season in North Mississippi. Meanwhile, concerned manager Bobette worries about attracting enough bell ringers for this season’s Red Kettle Campaign.
TheShop Episode 1
In the pilot episode, Bobette, the manager of The Shop (The Salvation Army, Oxford, MS), expresses her biggest concern that has been causing her sleepless nights. This year, the Salvation Red Kettle Campaign in Oxford, MS, has been reduced from 40 days to just 23 days, which significantly impacts funding. Bobette urgently needs volunteers to ring the bells and collect donations during this shortened campaign, running from November 28 to December 24.
